Carbohydrates are your body’s most important resource during races.

3 days before a race, athletes should start to increase the daily intake of carbs to store the maximum amount of glycogen in the body. This can be done by eating bread, pasta or rice ... but the sheer amount of food you need to digest could have its toll on your stomach or intestines.

Hiddit Carbo Loader offers a great alternative: it delivers the necessary carbs but comes without the risk of digestive issues. Our Carbo Loader consists of 96% maltodextrine, a complex carbohydrate that is nonetheless digested and absorbed really quickly.

And it tastes great too, thanks the natural sweetener stevia.

We have added some Vitamine B1, essential for digestion of carbs, production of red blood cells and contributor to a normal metabolism.

Carbo Loader is used in the days before a race or long training to “load” the body with carbs.

For workouts of more than 3 hours, it is advised to start carbo loading 72 hours in advance. For shorter races, 48 hours before the event will suffice.

Before these longer races, you should aim to consume 8 to 10 grams of carbs per kilogram of body weight per day.

A single portion of Hiddit Carbo Loader provides 150 grams of easily digestible carbohydrates.
